This is precisely the reason why Democrats should NOT cave on the shutdown. If the Republicans in Congress are going to continue ceding the power of the purse to POTUS, it is tyranny.

Henry Kissinger won a Nobel Peace Prize for watching the end of a war that he helped start.

Awful people have won the award before and they will again. That the current peace prize winner has urged Trump to come in and unpeacefully overthrow her government seems unsurprising.

I was a college student for 11 years and I’ve taught on college campus for 31 years. In those 42 years on campuses, only 4!were spent at a private school. The rest have been at underfunded public institutions.

Friends, please don’t think of Harvard as representative of higher ed in the US. I don’t.
