most Winter Olympic events take place on courses that are specific to the mountain where the event is being held. each ski slope is different from others around the world, same with the bobsled track, the biathlon course etc. therefore those sports don't keep World or Olympic records

I just think it's neat that they're using fun music that young people like instead of stuff that the skaters' moms and dads would enj-ohhhhhhhhhhhh my goodness i'm one thousand years old.
