Also, may I say that I don’t agree with people saying ICE and CBP need “more training.” They’re doing exactly what this administration has trained them to—impose a reign of fear in blue cities. They don’t need more training. They need to be ripped up root and branch.

right now the floor for me is abolish ICE and put every agent on trial and the average elected democrat is like what if we told them to cut it out

Thread. 😡
Well, this is outrageous. Florida man keeps bees on a lot he owns. Neighboring lot was sold, new owner came in in JULY and cleared beekeeper’s *20* hives and cut down his trees. Same day, Beekeeper learns of this, new neighbor claims it was a mistake, will fix! He got 14 of his hives back on 11/25.
Elderly resident stunned after neighbor's brazen act: 'This wasn't any sort of accident'
Richard Marquette, an 84-year-old beekeeper, was shocked when his neighbor stole 20 of his hives.

The killer of Renee Good proudly RECORDED THE KILLING. Body cams won't stop this. And "training" just gives ICE more money to train its agents to keep doing what they're doing.

Abolish ICE. Defund it entirely.

If @booker.senate.gov is your senator, please call him what you think. (202) 224-3224
THREAD. Having just written a book about this and talked to a LOT of Democrats, I can assure you that neither Cory Booker nor the policing industry he’s advertising think that more money for ICE “training” and tech would address any problem that any person of good will has with what ICE is doing.

The president's threat to impose tariffs on countries that oppose his desire to acquire Greenland shows that he does not see tariffs as an economic tool to help America, but as a weapon to hurt his enemies. That's the fundamental nature of his entire presidency.

The best way I can think of to memorialize a noted online proponent of racism and authoritarianism and occasional cartoonist, Scott Adams. An essay written on the occasion of his self-proclaimed cancellation.

The Case For Shunning
People like Scott Adams claim they're being silenced. But what they actually seem to object to is being understood.

That's assault right there.

Abolish ICE and shut its agents and enablers out of public employment forever.
A woman recording an ICE agent tells him "Shame on you."

The agent responds, "Have you all not learned from the past couple of days?"

"Learned what?" she asks

Then he knocks her phone out of her hand

That's highly illegal. The government cannot go to someone's house without a warrant or probable cause.
JD Vance: "It was a legitimate law enforcement operation. We were going door to door to try to find criminal illegal aliens and deport them from the United States ... say a prayer for that agent ... he deserves a debt of gratitude."

"Secret police" is often misunderstood to mean a force that operates covertly, with all their operations secret.

But a secret police force's actions are often public. The secret part is hiding their identities, because they're breaking laws to hurt politically disfavored people, and fear reprisals.

Not a movie. Not fiction. Kyiv.

After a missile attack, parts of the city are in darkness.

No heating. No light. Children warming themselves by fires.

This is what Russia calls “peace.”

Let's talk about measuring the 171mm people of the US labor force.
@peark.es seems real bad that the fed chair doesn't trust the job numbers

i think this is key. taking the deal would amount to taking the blame. it would turn a clear political victory into an unambiguous defeat.
If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?
