I think it’s really important to understand the different types of evil arrayed before us and especially what motivates them and I think that’s something leftists are often incredibly bad at

“Abolish ice” at this point is the conservative position.

Everyone involved in the administration at any level is going to have to be tried for crimes against humanity and dealt with accordingly.

This isn’t going away with elections and we certainly cannot “come together” after this.

This is so fucking funny, more teams should find ways to say “fuck you” to their rivals in trades and contracts
Sources: Poison pill blocks Parsons trade to Philly
The trade that sent Micah Parsons from Dallas to Green Bay has a "poison pill" condition that prevents the two-time All-Pro from playing for the Eagles in the immediate future, sources told ESPN.

Genuinely this single issue can be traced to *so many problems* in our society. It’s true everywhere but at least on a vibes level, it feels worse here. Regardless, the ability to admit you were wrong inoculates you against so many downstream problems
basic problem is none of these folks is capable of saying “i was wrong”

This is why I loathe zombie media. The post apocalypses like HZD and Stray where literally every human being died as part of their apocalypse are somehow less depressing than anything zombie-related
Even then, I played season 1 once and I’ll never go back to it. It’s just so wildly depressing

If it had any effect on the plot or it served any overarching purpose re: a central message it would be a totally valid direction but it’s disconnected from everything beyond “THIS WORLD BAD, BAD THING HAPPEN IN THIS WORLD, LOL DEAD KID”

“The greatest video game story ever told” eat my ass Craig Mazin, you islamophobic piece of shit
It’s so cynical! Like somehow it’s MORE cynical than cyberpunk, which explicitly states “we’re fucked because we’re allowing corporations to run absolutely wild.” Which is at least some kind of actual message!

Also does that stupid bullshit where it tries to make you feel bad for killing enemies the game forces you to kill lol. Just write a book man

There’s a lot of post apocalyptic franchises with something interesting to say about the world (Stray, Cyberpunk 2077, Half Life 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, even Fallout when it’s on its game), so it’s fitting for our bullshit society than The Last of Us is the one everyone treats as a shining example

Every single “WELL BUT THE SUBURBS WOULD BE WORSE” reply, I stg, I don’t *like* the suburbs but I would live a thousand years in one before a single fucking week in a small town
That’s great that some of you enjoy living in small towns, I would rather kill myself

Nancy Pelosi secretly being queen of the stock market and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez vocally opposing elected officials profiting off the stock market feel like intrinsically connected facts that quietly explain their instant bad blood the minute they became House colleagues

There’s a cottage industry of investors who monitor former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s disclosed stock trades, match her every move, and usually make a profit along the way.

That trend will now end in 2027.
