At some point these guys figured out there are no consequences to straight up lying, every day, about everything. They can say literally anything and news media will be like "a statement from government officials..." and treat it like it's not an obvious lie.

I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.
