This is a policy failure by every city in Minnesota.
This gentleman and I had just gotten off the busiest bus line in the state. The entire sidewalk was this bad or worse.
Enforcement is not working. Community driven solutions leave too many areas out.

Disheartening to see federal agents take two neighbors on 29th & Pillsbury. Chemical irritants were used on observers by them.
MPD showed up on scene, created a pathway for these federal agents to kidnap our neighbors, and assisted with controlling the space. Disappointing and heartbreaking.

I agree with Commissioner Forney on this. Park Board commissioners should not use bogus Fire Code concerns to prioritize overnight non-park-use parking in the Uptown Mall Park over park amenities on park land!
Also, a parking study noted plenty of open overnight spots just a block north.
