The first time I met her, I said "You don't know me, but I know you and I love you."
She said, "Honey, I know exactly who you are." And she took my hand and kissed it.

It felt like a blessing, and permission. But it was also a reminder of the responsibility of our work. Miss Major was watching.

Miss Major Griffin-Gracy has died. She was 78.

As an activist for our shared liberation, I am so grateful I had the opportunity to share space with her on this earth, even a handful of times. Miss Major showed us how to do this work. Our fight is just, and lifelong; let her light lead us onward.

incredible thank you to the domestic violence, coalition / housing folks who have been fighting for inclusive housing, shelter and victim services against the MAGA regime and their efforts to take away basic life-saving services from LGBTQ folks and other marginalized communities.

It does not make sense.
The treatment Rep Franson is receiving should be fully covered by insurance. Gender health care is not "trans only" care, its for all of us. If we ever get over the moral panic of trans existence, we can do SO much good together for everyone's health and mental well being.

lotta talk about the new local documentary so I just wanna put on the record: I think Minneapolis and Saint Paul are wonderful, beautiful cities full of vibrant and diverse people and food and culture, music, art, queer inclusion.

Unexpected good news on the bodily autonomy and repro front. Abortion is healthcare and most abortion in this country is medication abortion.

The evidence is overwhelming that medication abortion is safe and effective. The F.D.A. is right to continue the move towards accessibility.

Not to get preachy, but since this one is from the Pope and all, seemed like a good time to remind folks that treating immigrants with welcome and love is the actual 🎯 of Jesus’ ministry.
