Me and I’ve been approved but I don’t have money left for the deposit and first months rent or for the U-Haul to physically move or for the deposit to turn on the water. I have to keep asking strangers bc if this doesn’t work we’ll just be in the car until I find something else.

And they say no then I pay the application fee and it comes back fucking denied !!! There hasn’t been a way around this that I’ve found. The only company not charging a fee is the one that was honest and told me it’s bc all their properties had roaches. So I finally find a house willing to work with

Smoking on the highway. Application fees are nonrefundable here. I didn’t even know it wasn’t like that everywhere. But they’re $35-$75 each so far. What keeps happening is I hit up the company or landlord and let them know about my felony and ask the requirements. I ask them if it’ll be an issue

Orgs for little things but again it just doesn’t cover everything. I didn’t have a car at all and my mom sold me a lemon. Trying to get the car in working order has been expensive. I needed a new engine, a tune up, a radiator and I still need tires and to figure out why it’s jerking and still

Afloat BEFORE my landlord got sheisty on me and BEFORE we got this surprise baby. Both happening at the same time is EXPENSIVE. We’ve had lots of complications w the babies health bc she had zero prenatal care. Insurance hasn’t and isn’t covering everything. I’m getting wic and help from local

Into savings. Then I started losing clients bc I started missing deadlines. I can’t control when a very sick chronically ill person needs intensive care. Sometimes I just couldn’t turn things in. So now I’m in a position where I need monetary help and have to rebuild. I was just barely staying

I got it out the mud but I work for myself. I have no pto or fmla or maternity type leave anything so life started happening back to back things started dwindling. When I started caretaking full time I could no longer travel to my clients which was a huge chunk of my work so I had to start dipping

People have commented on my courage for posting this so often but I can’t explain enough that I feel like I have no other option 🥲 I can’t be homeless in cold months with a 6 week old. Shelters around here aren’t safe or even guaranteed and I have no help from family. Everything that I did have

Man they told me Just get on disability bc ill never be able to work. I feel like people listen bc they figure the professionals know best and so they end up not even trying. I just couldn’t believe them

Yep. Kids first. But you know, sometimes being ok for the kids helps you be ok. When my brother unexpectedly died my niece was here for the summer. She didn’t sign up for a sad summer so I pushed through. Had she not been here I’m not sure how/if I would’ve coped. Hope things even out for u, Bunny🩷
