So like this is nothing because it's a game that isn't out yet so I have no clue how good it will be but there's an RPG set in ancient China someone is making called bustling world that seems cool. Kenshi style , unlikely to be rollslop.

Honestly, part of the like no guns in fantasy hard line a lot of people draw might just be lack of awareness of early guns. If you think guns start at flintlocks, yeah I see why you wouldn't want guns in a medieval fantasy. But like , a matchlock? Handgonne? Come on.
