my friend couldnt get a bus ticket almost, they are reserved seats but theres rules around letting woman sit next to men when buying tickets so only male tickets were available cause of the layout of empty seats so I just bought two mens tickets under my name for us & the bus driver dgaf thank god

yeah i think that was the goal i just don’t agree with the idea to make it more “cinematic” cause it just makes things more dull for no real benefit to me it’s just kinda ugly. movie rules though and it’s def a matter of decisions being made on the art and not budget you’ll see when you watch it

I thought it was really flat and dull and lifeless in a way that didn’t match fujimotos art or the story at all. all the traditional anime embelishments and parts of their mannerisms that were in the manga were toned down for no real benefit. kinda like an MCU parking lot fight anime to me
