The captions are really bad, and y’all not tuned to understand the accent will be lost, but our local news plays this every year and it’s not Christmas without it. The Cajun Night Before Christmas book is a classic, and hearing it read really brings the language to life.

When customers choose faster shipping and earlier delivery dates, the system shifts from optimized routing to whatever gets the package out fastest, and that means higher emissions, said Sreedevi Rajagopalan, a research scientist at MIT.

The American Federation of Teachers is teaming up with a company under investigation for promoting murder suicides whose product, which it admits is based on stolen work, has been used to create nudes and harass students. And kids are supposed to take ethics guidance from them. Ok!

Now, tonight's local urgent needs. Just one.

I need 7 people with CashApp who can afford to give a family in need $50 each. Their windshield is badly damaged, and replacement will be ~$400.

They're raised $50 toward it; 7 ppl matching it will cover it.

I wanted to figure out what changed between the DOJ's initial Epstein Files Vol. 8 document dump (which they quickly pulled) and the version they replaced it with.

I had a few hours of free time for PDF forensics hacking today. Here's my initial analysis of what changed: github.com/chad-loder/e...

One final note, for all the people building searchable databases of Epstein files docs.

You can't trust the OCR'd text in these PDFs. The quality of the OCR is decent, but inconsistent -- and on some files, it's missing entirely.

You have to re-OCR them yourself, using something robust.

Are you panicking yet? Because you should be.

You should be refusing every data center, every AI everything, every crypto gimmick.

You should be denying votes to every feckless pol who will not commit to ending all of those, and short-hop flights, too.

The govt will do it en masse and tell citizens you cant tell what your seeing while exposing their own corruption.

Ai needs to go now while its messy and noticeable.

the least shocking thing in the epstein files that wont get enough attention. police regularly arrest and charge victims to coerce them into participating, often jailing them in conditions that are worse.
jesus the Palm Beach Police really sought arrest warrants against underage Epstein victims for coming forward and cooperating, and (purported) admitting to crimes, and it caused the victims to become uncooperative with the federal investigation

Speedily running towards an expansion of mass incarceration.
"porch piracy" is theft. it's illegal in every single state. in states with expansive statutes, this could even be burglary. there is no evidence that local police or prosecutors are unable to handle this. and existing federal law on interstate transportation of stolen property can handle big cases.

Schumer: The law was written very clearly, and it did not allow all these redactions—this blacking out of everything. It did not say you can dribble them out over a period of months. These guys are full of shit. They should simply release it all now.
