the type of AI that is good for science, is not the generative bullshit they are forcing down our throats. Generative AI is theft, period. It isn't reliable, and it is not getting more reliable with time. It is also heavily influenced by the people weighting the input as evidenced by Grok.
I spent an hour respectfully discussing AI with a pro-AI friend, and while I agree with him that analytical AI is good for science, my position remains firm that it's terrible for the humanities because it is antithetical to humanity.
