And shout out to all who are digging deep to protect their country from those who would abuse it.

Does Trump think Alaska is Putin’s Problem?
Is there something we don’t know. Like he gave away the 49th state?

Alaska needs help!

We’re clearly not in it for the money - so we end up working with amazingly kind and generous people.

Cheers to retirement!

(Hah! I replied to something else!
I deleted it even though it was kind of appropriate!)

Telling kids not to do something they haven’t considered doing is highly dangerous!

I laugh at it as if I’ve never laughed at it before.

One must make sacrifices.
😂
I just turned the n the movie and I’m paying extra attention to the costumes this viewing. Perhaps their wardrobes could inspire your packing choices?

The custodian was seriously busy with rainwater issues in other areas of the school- plus all of her regular duties!

My principal digging out the storm drain in the school parking lot is not technically the reason we’re kicking off the school fundraiser today… but here’s the link to donate: givebutter.com/walkerwolf

😂😂😂

She saved the day because this is where the parents drive to drop off and pick up their kids.
A wonderful elementary school principal digging out debris in a drain in a parking lot. She’s wearing rain boots standing at the edge of an enormous puddle, and her umbrella is set on the ground behind her. She’s smiling, of course. Good natured people are generally the ones who roll up their sleeves to save the day.

I’ve been teaching since 1990. It hasn’t gotten easier!

Respect to those who got here first.

Nice! Field trip costs are daunting these days, but we’ll still do our regular Children’s Museum, zoo, and the (admin sponsored) trick or treating at the district offices. It’s not much, but many of the kids haven’t been to any zoos or museums.

I remember the first time I saw ringworm on a child.
“What’s this?” I asked as I touched it.

😂😂😂🤢🤢🤢😂😂😂
mrspowersdayjob.bsky.social
They used to look like ringworm back when I first started making class shirts. 😆😆😆
Now we call them Blue Bubble Shirts. Sounds better, looks better!
I know how to make better styles of tie dye shirts, but not how to have 5 year olds help with those. Bubbles will have to suffice.

The kids & their 5th grade buddies put rubber bands on the shirts, (then I go back & tighten & add more) so they feel like they helped made them themselves. 🙄😆
I’ve never done sugar skulls, but I love the idea.

And, since I’m an educator in Arizona, I can be considered a starving artist.
🤪

My poor rubber-banding fingers disagree!

That’s such a great feeling, isn’t it? Knowing they’d have loved their celebration.
