The Freep probably wants to be more accurate ... CIJA is an Israeli organization, not a Jewish organization. Conflating the two, making it look like Jews in general want to stop the CMHR from talking about forced displacement of Palestinians, could feed anti-Semitism.

Are these sous vide mashed potatoes?
Boil em, mash em, not sticking them in a stew though. Hand mashed taters, two batches, four hours 🥵

Violence has no place in America. Michelle and I are praying for the servicemembers shot in Washington, DC today, and send our love to their families as they enter this holiday season under the most tragic of circumstances.

Ford keeps doing all the exact things Trump does but people seem to think that because he does his tough talk routine around tariffs (which personally impact him as an owner of factories in both countries) he's "anti-Trump".

The media seem incapable of properly framing Ford.
Ford says he will audit ‘left-wing radical groups’ opposed to government legislation | Globalnews.ca
Ford's warning came after members of the tenant advocacy group ACORN interrupted the legislature to protest a controversial omnibus bill that shortens some eviction timelines.

I guess Hasan Piker is losing his job as host of 60 Minutes...
Bari Weiss says she wants to use her new perch at CBS News to “redraw the lines of what falls in the 40 yards of acceptable debate” in American political and cultural life. She says the aim is to sideline voices like Hasan Piker, Tucker Carlson and Nick Fuentes, and elevate “charismatic”...

If only people had such clarity over the Israel's 50+ year occupation of Palestine.
Why is victim being pressed to concede while murderer sets expectations? This is simply illegal.

If ukrainian borders are questioned, everything else - from Outer Manchuria to Taiwan is questioned as well.

There’s a peace prize.. not a surrender award. Someone pls explain that on Penn Ave

Ive never listened to the Grateful Dead outside of radio singles. I just listened to 10 mins of a live performance and Im kinda surprised that Phish was able to make a whole career out of just being a tribute band.

Health workers in mental health DO NOT need more protection from liability... and I am one.

Mental Health Acts in Canada were created because psychiatric hospitals were literally torturing patients.

I have seen widespread ignorance of mental health, consent, and privacy laws in my work.

Important reminder as Alberta and Ontario are always pushing against the CHA and Carney is just the kind of right-wing finance bro to "innovate".

Private care is only beneficial to shareholders and the ultra rich. There is no evidence that it improves wait times or benefits 99% of people.

At COP30 Canada just got awarded the fossil of the day — first time since 2014 (the harper years). Clear sign of how Carney’s pro fossil fuel agenda and backsliding on climate policy is being noticed internationally.
