Seems like the exact wrong time to look for ways to compromise with Republicans and exactly the right time to go for the jugular and secure the thousand year woke dynasty
Pew has Trump's approval at 37%. And:

"Only about a quarter of Americans today (27%) say they support all or most of Trump’s policies and plans, down from 35% when he returned to office last year. That change has come entirely among Republicans."

Not content to roll back vaccination in the US alone, the extreme anti-vaxx activist & conspiracy theorist RFK Jr is taking his anti-vaxx crusade worldwide

It is children in low- & middle-income countries who will suffer the most from his awful anti-science policies

Let’s talk about that

I keep coming back to this clip as a symbol of the Democratic Party’s challenges. Murphy correctly says ICE “is not about safety or immigration, but a pretext for Trump to take over.”

Given this fact, Democratic leadership’s reform and fund plan makes no sense.
Pam Bondi just sent a letter to Minnesota officials saying ICE will leave if the state turns over its voter database to Trump.

Guess what? This has never been about safety or immigration. It’s a pretext for Trump to take over elections in swing states.

Regimes that rely on repression face a challenge: The more force they deploy, the more they risk exposing their own brutality to politically persuadable observers. ICE are running around in the streets using facial recognition on random people and telling anyone filming them they're a domestic terrorist and Democrats solution is to equip every ICE agent with their very own body-worn surveillance camera

I certainly would not have been able to write my story about all the bravery I witnessed in Minneapolis without the access I was given! bsky.app/profile/whst...
I would really appreciate if journalists who have done ridealongs would speak up about how important they are to helping Minneapolis. As I’ve said many times, opsec fears are the greatest threat to the networks we’ve built. But the reason we’re out here is to show the world what’s happening.
Ridiculous. @chrislhayes.bsky.social did a ride-along that was played on @ms.now last night - the piece threatened nothing and was good 'publicity' for the cause. Hopefully they'll come around for you, Will. Thanks for what you're doing for our city & state.

If we are really doing unitary executive theory all the way down, this should be thrown out for lack of adversarialness. You can't sue yourself.

The justifications for war with Iran keep changing. First it’s nukes, then it’s conventional missiles, then it’s protesters, and now it’s back to nukes again. Kinda seems like war with Iran is itself the objective, and they’re just making up excuses to get there.

If Trump had lost the election and was a private citizen, would Bezos have spent $75+ million on a Melania movie? bsky.app/profile/atru...
Q: Amazon paid $75m to make & market this film. It's an exorbitant fee. Many Americans think this is Bezos trying to get in good w/ you & they would call it corruption

TRUMP: Who are you with?

Q: The New York Times

T: Fake news New York Times. I'm not involved w/ that. That was done with my wife

Garbage but I await it being thrown back in his face re: some of the pending litigation challenging him and Musk.

Ex: he thinks a Privacy Act violation is worth $10 billion in damages, so good luck there, Elon... (And the pretense of suing an agency he controls undermines his unitary exec theory.)

ICE has been holding a disabled Black man for a year!

Rodney Taylor is a double amputee who was days away from receiving new prosthetic legs when ICE took him.

He’s been denied his prosthetics & placed in solitary.

His health is declining.

Public outrage might save his life.

Say his name:

If Republicans don't want Trump to loot billions in taxpayer money through the sham of the head of the executive branch suing the executive branch, they could stop this tomorrow with articles of impeachment.

Why they don't might be a question you'd want to ask every Republican until Trump is gone.

° Require warrants in some cases and ICE coordination with state and local law enforcement

° Create a code of conduct and enforce it

° Require agents to wear body cams and not masks
