Baldwin: Our farmers are facing incredible headwinds. A lot of the fertilizer inputs come from Canada. Those have shot up because of tariffs. About a quarter of all farmers use the ACA for their health care coverage. This president is just contributing to the headwinds that our farmers are facing.

I get the desire to prioritize residents over visitors in a housing emergency.

But shouldn’t the bigger long-term goal be more housing *and* more hotels? Rather than just managing scarcity?

People need to know that there is absolutely no reason to RIF people during a government shutdown. None. They’re firing people from critical roles because they want to hurt perceived democrats, and dismantle key agencies to sow chaos.

The people who want violent protests to happen are Trump, Stephen Miller, Kristi Noem, Pete Hegseth, Tom Homan, and other senior appointees in his admin. They are doing everything they possibly can to provoke people to violence and it is obvious that is what they hope for daily.
