For me, it’s the Legend of Zelda franchise; waaaay back when my now-husband and I were at a school dance, I mentioned that I was playing the latest Zelda game at the time (Phantom Hourglass), and he started geeking out; turned out he was a huge fan, and he and I bonded over the games ^^

A lot of people really seem to forget that kids watch these damn movies just as much as all of us adults do. Do you really honest to God think that "you're a bad person forever if you do bad things, so don't even try to be better" is a healthy message to convey to an age group that impressionable???

Imma be real. No. I don't think his redemption was handled well, but finding it in yourself to come back from the point of no return even when everyone thinks you're too far gone has always been a core tenant of Star Wars. Kylo Ren just staying evil forever is too cynical and bleak for this series.

I genuinely pity people who think keeping Kylo Ren evil was a good idea. It was set up since The Force Awakens that Leia would be the one to save him down the line.

Keeping him evil and killing him evil is a fundamental betrayal of the franchise's core themes of redemption and forgiveness.
