They just haven't confirmed Nights in any trailers yet, so I imagine including them on the box was a marketing oversight.
I suspect they'll be the December character.

So, we know Sonic Racing CrossWorlds is getting at least 13 free DLC characters, we know 4 of them so far, and going off previous reports, the remaining ones are likely also gonna be more Sonic and Sega characters.

With that said, got any guesses for who the remaining 9 characters are gonna be?

To give a quick tl;dr, Zero Punctuation (now rebranded to Fully Ramblomatic) is one of the longest-running game review series in internet history, dating back to 2007.
It's got a long-standing legacy to say the least, so to lose that series from your network is a *catastrophic* level of a screw-up.
