Two facts:

-Accessibility and walkability are as strong as their weakest links.

-Uncleared sidewalks are a moral statement (even if it is just the curb cuts)

If grandma can't roll over the snow to catch the bus, it isn't good enough.

When a 22-year-old white man was accused of assassinating Charlie Kirk, did the Trump regime investigate all the 22-year-old white men in the country? Or is collective punishment only a thing we do to people of non-European descent?

Like sure "you can talk to the computer and it does stuff"is appealing since that's Star Trek and we want to live in Star Trek. But "you can talk to the computer and then it lies to you" is 2001: A Space Odyssey and we don't really want to live in that.

Australia recorded ZERO cases of cervical cancer in women under 25 for the first time since they started tracking the cancer in the 80s.

This is the power of vaccines.

The HPV vaccine is extremely effective at preventing cancer.

Viruses can be oncogenic. Get your vaccines and protect yourself!

Vaccination programs have played a key role, and GPs remain ‘instrumental’ in boosting screening rates to reach the 2035 target.

These are neighbors responding to violent abduction of their neighbors.

They're not activists/protestors in the ways the State & media convey. Every. Time. They. Do. This.
We're all trying to get through the week & they're spraying tear gas in people's faces when they come to say, "stop!"

Monsters.
ICE kidnapped a 17-year-old U.S. citizen named Christian Jimenez. Jimenez, a high school senior born in Newberg, Oregon, was driving on his school’s lunch break when ICE/CBP agents stopped his car, smashed his window, and abducted him on November 21, 2025.

I complained about the sports coverage in my college newspaper and the sports editor suggested I join the paper as a sports reporter. That led to one editing job and another and another until eventually it led to school public realtions.

Imagine a town with only burger joints and one or two salad places 20 miles away. It would be hard to say the evidence is overwhelming that the majority of the town’s residents prefer burgers to salads. To me, that’s the suburban/urban housing preference debated distilled to its essence.

Amazing and beautiful and just.
Sharing this again just because I love it so much. #justaminute

Car drivers who block cycle lanes for “just a minute” force people on bikes into car traffic. It’s dangerous, it’s selfish, it’s illegal (NZ) and it deserves the mocking it gets in this protest action.

Today is a good day to remember, and to say, that the #MeToo movement was right, and was righteous, and has been vindicated over and over again. There was no overreach. There was no excess. There was no they-went-too-far.

So much work remains to be done.

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

Shutting down the government is a big deal. People have been hurt in big ways as a result of the decision. To have that suffering be for nothing—to re-open the government without actually having protected people’s health insurance and economic well-being—is unconscionable.

When people take trips by bicycle, they improve their physical and mental health, avoid emitting tailpipe or tire particle pollution, and save money that can instead be spent in the local economy.

Safe and comfortable bikeway connections make these benefits available to more people across our city.

Note: Cal Williams and Kyndra de St. Aubin will call Game 3 of #MNUFC-#Sounders series on Apple TV on Saturday.

Context: It’s the first #Loons match for the pair since they called nearly every game for the club from 2017-22. They did a Chicago Fire home game earlier this year.
