I used one for many years when I lived in the UK and it worked very well for me. Best to set it up somewhere you'll be in the morning and have it become part of your routine (like arrive at desk, turn it on)

Gentle reminder: I am seeing more "I cannot afford pet food" posts & if you might face this in the near future/now, I recommend checking your local area's subreddit and posting if anyone knows of local programs for pet food. Many areas have small under-the-radar charities that give out pet food.
