Spoilers for Digimon Beatbreak and what not, but the latest episode was everything I love about Digimon. Chiropmon's digivolution sequence was such a huge emotional payoff.
The past couple episodes were dark as hell and have pretty much sold me that Beatbreak has the sauce. It is so good!

Watched the Guillermo del Toro Frankenstein movie finally
It certainly isn't my favorite film of his, even though I still liked it, but I think I can respect the direction he took the story in. It was fine. Pinocchio was definitely better, but Frankenstein was okay

There's something about a sick day, laying in bed, typing out a story on the phone, snow on the ground outside, coming down from an emotionally dissociative episode in my brain, that tears the soul apart and stitches it back together
