It is super interesting how it actually disincentivises you from ever venturing outside of your usual watch habits by taking any change in you viewing history as permission to bombard you with the worst shit imaginable.

The YouTube algorithm is fascinating to me because it will usually settle into a rhythm of just recommending the handful of channels you always watch, but if you watch 2 or 3 videos from a channel outside of your frequent stuff it'll just go ham throwing absolute bullshit and Joe Rogan clips at you.

I ask because I have found that a lot of young (or people new to) writing games crit generally find it difficult to highlight and separate out elements they really like/dislike in games they really dislike/like, leading to a lot of reviews reading like 10/10s or 1/10s regardless of the actual score.
