You really are going to take their word that they’ll come to the table in good faith after the fact. Where have you BEEN the last decade, not to mention the last nine months. Are you serious right now? #nhpolitics #newhampshire

Jesus Christ, @kaine.senate.gov, getting a pinky promise to hold one single vote on ACA funding is not "a path toward fixing the health care mess" anymore than a lottery ticket is a "path toward fixing my personal finances"

Following up on this. This remains a ‘cave is minutes or hours away’ situation. If you want to impact how this plays out you need to contact senators literally now. I want to add additional points of context. What I’m relaying is what I’ve picked up from highly reliable sources.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

John Fetterman, Angus King, Maggie Hassan, Dick Durbin, Jon Ossoff, Jeanne Shaheen, Kirsten Gillibrand, Catherine Cortez Masto, Mark Warner, Cory Booker, and of course Chuck Schumer. Maybe others not top of mind. Not all responsible will publicly vote for the cave - that's not how this works.

PLEASE do not accept a “deal” that doesn’t include at least an extension to subsidies. A promise for a future vote is NOT a win.
I will put all of my efforts the next two years toward primarying sen hassan if either of you vote for this.

Voting yea were Chris Coons (DE), John Fetterman (PA), Maggie Hassan (NH), and Jeanne Shaheen (NH). Angus King (I-ME) also voted yea.

Idk I read his article and this seems like a misrepresentation. He says like a million times that we still need to cut emissions, he is just also saying we need to invest in infrastructure to support vulnerable people through the temperature changes that ARE occurring and will occur.
