When we were kids, we’d take the unopened bud of this white flower, pop it on each other’s heads and shout, “Jump up and kiss me!”

The little pop really did sound like a kiss.

So here’s to a Jump-Up-And-Kiss-Me Saturday for you all.

Look “space green” kosmochlor may be of meteorite origin and occasionally carved as it’s associated with jadeite, but blue kyanite definitely gets the arts vote for jewelry and use in porcelain and pottery glazes. Plus is gets physics points as an index metal. #MinCup25

Here's my cat, Fluffernutter Purrington, watching a mouse through a basement window when a camel cricket launches and surprises them both. Mouse decides it's all just too weird and abandons the bowl of nuts. #cat #mouse #cricket #trailcam #caturday

The squirrels are so active right now that they are bumping all the cameras. This camera goes to my protected birdbath and it got knocked off. I always like to see if it caught anything and this time it got a golden crowned sparrow. It’s mostly cut off, a head shot…it’s forging on the ground. #Birds

jiminy's animal reviews: This is a type of wrasse found in the Caribbean Sea known as a slippery dick (𝘏𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘣𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘴), which was also the Secret Service’s code name for Bill Clinton. They’re not valued by anglers or aquarium owners, so it seems nobody wants to put their hands on it. 🧵
