My point with that first post was that the conclusions of science are constantly being revised.

We do need to question everything we were taught. That is what keeps science relevant.

My father got his undergrad degree from CU in the 1930s.

My brother went into polymer chemistry.

I remember my father trying to discuss chemistry topics with my brother and my brother brushing him off with, "No one believes that stuff any more." Brother went to college in the early 1970s.

I have a degree in Geology, though I didn't use my degree in my career much.

I have forgotten a lot of it, but I am sure much of what I was taught in the 1970s has been revised 40+ years later.

I lived in Fort Collins, Colorado, at the time. Fort Collins is not far the border with Wyoming.

Absolutely.

My brother is a highly educated man that has done well for himself, but in our conversations you can hear the brainwashing being done by Conservative media. We were brought up by a Liberal mother that fought for civil rights. All that has gone from him.

Sounds like an interesting story.

I swear that both my dogs have had the ability to sense things well beyond what humans can. Of course they have better hearing and sense of smell, but I think their awareness goes past those things.
