I saw both Great Spotted and White-backed Woodpeckers today, but only this one gives me that subtle dinosaur vibe… 🦕
Maybe it’s the size, or just the way it moves—so bold and powerful. 🤔🪶

It probably is yellow Rumped warbler. They all look a little bit different and it probably was just staying warm.

This is a berry brush and they’ve taken these yummy berries that Birds need and they’ve covered them with the dangerous spiderwebs that birds get their legs stuck in

The yellow rumped warblers love the pond as much as Song Sparrow. There’s always two or three hanging out. #Birds

This bird has a different body shape than a Yellow Rumped Warbler , but when I put it in Merlin, it didn’t come up with any better suggestions.

I always wonder when I see spotted towhees if they are the same birds that are in my yard in the summer. As you recall, I saw this bird walking through my yard periodically, this spring and summer. I recognize it by the white exposed corner on its tail feathers. #Birds

I like this footage of Golden Crowned sparrow that I got at the wildlife Pond this morning.
It looks like it uses the pond to search for food, and then it gives us a close-up towards the end #Birds

I don’t think Flicker- mom got the message is going to be a hard winter. Maybe it was an unplanned addition.

List feathers on her face do you think she got scared I’ve seen young ones, but I don’t remember seeing all the loose feathers on their face

Here’s a close-up you can see a lot of Downey feathers, but her face also seems to have loose feathers

I haven’t seen even one rat on any of my cameras now in two weeks boy that was a hard job and I’m sure they will come back. All they need is two.
I don’t know I was thinking maybe her parents didn’t teach her how to find a safe dry space
