Fish-bender sounds like an insult from the Inbetweeners...

Amusing, but also infuriating article, with how it effectively follows up the tales of how these people fail at life relying on their digital Cyrano de Bergeracs, with "AI is amazing, all these instances of it were hopelessly dishonest, and ended in failure, but it does work, please keep using it "

Maybe it's just me, but I sometimes prefer those early levels when your characters are more limited. Perhaps because it's easier for the developers to balance things, whereas at higher levels skill bloat can mean you're either OP or you've accidentally nerfed yourself with a build that plateaus off

Dwarves definitely. Horrible models.
Chaos Warriors and Orcs were *ok* but definitely inferior to the Heroquest versions. Felt like the skaven were a backward step too.

That's the thing though, the Heroquest models were also monopose (and didn't even have slotta bases!) but I would rate them over the later unit boxes

I do wonder what caused the seemingly backward step from great, multi-part plastic kits like the skeleton army set, or the space ork boyz, to the comparitively more primitive plastics of 2nd edition 40k and 4th edition WHFB

I do think the very early GW plastics had some very nice sculpts - HeroQuest, Space Crusade and their Advanced versions, but then seemed to get a bit rubbish in the 90s when they started the monopose plastic regiments before improving again...

take any two names in this stupid diagram and make your own Dungeons and Dragons character. I'm Ambience CoreWeave and I'm a level 4 Cleric

I’m getting big “artists at a con circulating the same $20 around” vibes but like, in an evil way

I was just thinking that I seem to remember his early music videos featured rock-chick type dancers with piercings and dyed hair too...

Saw an interesting video that claimed there's a significant number of people in the US who either don't realise, or pretend not to know, they live in urban areas, just because they aren't in the inner city...

Great minds think alike - I commented on a reddit thread recently that Perturabo would make a great Daemon Primarch of Hashut

... much as I would love to use trains, especially for long distance journeys, it is not economically or logistically viable to do so.

Looking to travel from Axminster in Devon to Nottingham in 6 weeks time.
To take the train will cost, at minimum, £161.90 return, per person.
It will take, assuming no delays, 6-7 hours to get there.
To drive will take just under 4 hours, use ~£120 worth of petrol for the round trip...

There should be an orky gubbins kit too

Maybe she's saying it's Brit Ian that loses... Which I'm assuming is Ian Duncan Smith?

Sharpe getting made major is more to do with giving him the rank to keep doing what he does best without interference from officers who don't like his origins...

the post office is a public service. it doesn’t need to make money. public transit doesn’t need to make money. the library doesn’t need to make money. some things exist for the public good and we desperately need lawmakers to stop thinking about them in terms of capitalism. these are not businesses.

I don't think it's orky - the gauntlet housing looks too clean, and the fingers are stubby claws rather than proppa orky snippers.
Some sort of alien mercenary or a scaly mutant for Necromunda is my betting...

For the money and resources they put into this they could have just hired a korean person, from actual Korea, flown them in, and had them cook a steak sandwich...
