Half awake trying to sleep and I hear the sound of crunching plastic, one of our cats was going to town on a strip of plastic!! But I was able to pull it out of his mouth before he swallowed… Thank god I’m a light sleeper who wakes up instantly 😮💨

Speaking of exposition, I really enjoyed Zootopia (2016) but it has a scene I hate that crosses into exposition for me…. and then Zootopia 2 does that but it’s even worse lol. I had fun watching the sequel tho! But the writing itself is definitely parts stronger than the whole iykyk

ALSO also I don’t have the patience to write all that down! I’m firmly in the camp of you only need to know as much of the setting as it’s revealed. Exposition of worldbuilding during the story?? omg it hurts, I can’t stand exposition lol
I think about how some ppl have documents with worldbuilding details and backstories and other incidentals and I don’t do that lmao. What I have to write down is dialogue bc specific phrases are easy to forget but everything else is yolo. I just have a decent memory for this stuff.

Classes at scad I took covered some of this so I know the general monopolization that was everywhere but now I’m learning some more specific details including the start of cable TV

Told my hubs how I heard that on dating sites guys are asking for quirky neurodivergent girls (“autist-coded” “adhd adjacent”) and he was all WTF??
Shout out to my hubs, he’s taken care of my bipolar/adhd butt for almost 2 decades. He knows it’s not cutesy personality traits with no downsides.
