love this very american (complimentary) car from C&C over the weekend
- Toyota/GM joint venture
- death metal illegible font for Toyotagang
- econocar slammed with giant wheels, clearly a daily driver
- PR flag
- fun, not stuffy
dark gray metallic Toyota Matrix slammed with giant chrome wheels, acrylic bubble steering wheel on dash, "toyotagang" decal on lower windshield in a death metal typeface, another black Matrix is parked next to it with enkei RPF-1 wheels

the whole "agentic" push annoys me the most

hey, what if you could interact with a computer through natural language? something that famously is clear and unambiguous and consistent across domains!

If anyone needs me I will be in the museum, lying down next to the bog bodies.
Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?
2? Questions
I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

There were multiple Oasis albums on a “Classic British Rock” list and I’d like to report Apple Music to the mods

I went to Luft 11 in Durham so of course after I looked at air-cooled 911’s online, the kind that were $10-15k not that long ago (late 70’s targas, etc) and uh, yikes, that’s a lot of money for an overgrown beetle

Given current prices I think even a Corel clip art of an air-cooled 911 warrants the asking in the alt text

Alright my kid has found her niche with the creepy eye thing.
A cooling rack of halloween cookies. Theyre kind of goofy. Some have goody faces. A couple have 10-15 eyes.

More than 660,000 North Carolinians are projected to lose their healthcare coverage under the Trump GOP's "One Big" federal budget, which Congress passed earlier this year. The bill effectively kills North Carolina's historic Medicaid expansion, which just passed in 2023.
