as an adult i find that it’s exceedingly rare for a piece of art to profoundly affect me the same way it might have when i was a kid, but Princess Mononoke absolutely did that when i saw it for the first time a few years ago. totally redefined what animated cinema could be in my eyes

i think the matrix reloaded kicks ass and never deserved the hate it got. but i can’t really defend the third one. 80% of that one is shots of people firing guns into a grey void
