LOOK at this handsome American Crow fledgling! 😍🖤 His parents are valiantly protecting him from humans, off-leash dogs, and other predators. This is the same kiddo my fellow rescuer and I have been checking on since yesterday. She has a real camera that snaps gorgeous shots like this. 🪶
Totally random, but somebody in my building is cooking meat multiple times a day, and the smell is so intense it’s reaching the far corners of my condo despite multiple closed doors. I’m pretty sure everything I own now smells like meat cooking, ugh. 😣

I always side eye autism social skills classes because I spent years trying desperately to fit in and always subtly failing and getting treated worse than if I never tried to hide. But then I learned from other weirdos how to be happily weird and found belonging way faster.

The last Chicagoan they arrested for "crashing her car into them" just had all charges against her dropped because it turned out, to no one's surprise, that that was a lie.
Standoff has been going on for at least 2 hours. Chatter on live feed is that the person Feds are after either is a supposed gang member or federal agents are claiming the person crashed their car into them.

People don’t understand that stripping the guardrails of regulation and oversight doesn’t just apply to like better business bureau type shit but also like on a practical level when I get into an elevator I expect that it has passed a safety inspection & that type of security will be gone soon

These things are dangerous as shit. They started allowing them on the freeway and the very first one I saw on the 10 this week almost caused a pile up because it didn't know how to handle the 10/110 interchange and people were slamming on their brakes while this thing wove in and out of the lane
