Do not fall for this garbage. DHS came into my city with an offensive posture, conducted itself as an invader, often attacked residents without any plausible connection to immigration enforcement, violently seized people off the streets. Now it’s our fault people died?

At one point, one of the democratic representatives proposed a motion to amend the bill to include education about consent and safety for boys in Kansas schools. She said if the bill is actually about keeping girls safe, this should be obvious. The bill sponsor said that sort of thing is irrelevant.

The job of our police is to keep people safe, not enforce fed immigration laws. I want them preventing homicides, not hunting down a working dad who contributes to Minneapolis and is from Ecuador. It’s similar to the policy your guy Rudy had in NYC. Everyone should feel comfortable calling 911.
