A lot of older books are badly written by modern standards and that's a sign of prior getting better at writing stories over time, not a sign of cultural or literary degradation.

As a result, modern reinventions of classics provide a way to get the gist without subjecting yourself to a slog!! 💜

I try not to god worship any person online or offline: influencer, celebrity, author, or whatever. They will always be terrible sooner or later.

I will never understand why people do it like cant you see that whatever idealized version you see of people is going to be false always? Theyre not perf
