300 years ago, wars were fought over a fraction of the contents of your average grocery store spice isle. The average citizen has easy access to a more varied diet than royalty from the 18th century.
Throughout history technological developments have promised great wealth for all. However this has proved widely over optimistic. Farming, the industrial revolution, automation, the internet and now ai. Greater wealth has only been for those who control the means and systems. The rest get poorer

I thought that for most of my life. I was disabused of the notion when I went to a museum with life-sized animal sculptures.

I think it helps that most of the time, when Flambae acts like a jerk the game (usually through Robert) punishes him for it, and the times it doesn’t are when him being a jerk is also kind of funny. (It also helps that even the Z-Team get annoyed when he’s excessively mean.)
... isn't particularly rewarding. Visi doesn't improve as a hero until she makes an effort to open up and let down her walls. Phenomeman took out his depression on others (but mostly himself) until given a constructive outlet via the Z-Team. Flambae's a douche, but he has a soft spot for kids.

This was the response to a rabbi asking Christians not to use Hebrew words for their institutions since it’s confusing for Jews trying to find Jewish institutions. And here I thought I wouldn’t get to use my old supersession meme.

Hot take: making your own country worse to disincentivize immigration defeats the stated purpose of decreasing immigration. (And if your opposition to immigration is the other reason, is it really worth it to shoot yourself in the foot just so you can be more racist?)

We imported an offshore racist to buy Twitter and he immediately outsourced racism to foreigners who don’t understand American tastes. Foreign racism leaves the American palate unsatisfied. We don’t want to hear about “inferior Slavs.” We have our own groups to hate.
Literally the reason Twitter sucks now is all these foreigners logged on willing to do racism for pennies on the dollar and undercut our home-grown American racists. We need to erect serious trade barriers to protect the integrity of our domestic racism industry and preserve racist jobs.

Hear me out: we combine traditions by having the office set a pine tree on fire and keep it burning for 8 days.
When you say holiday but mean Christmas, you erase my holiday. I don’t need you to share them! I don’t need to have a company dreidel competition (although we should). I’m an adult now, I know I’m a minority. But don’t send me an Ugly Hanukkah Sweater and expect me to care.

Is it really so hard for non-Jews to criticize Israel without being horrifically antisemitic? I wouldn’t think it’s that hard, but with how often people fail to do it I’m starting to wonder if antisemitism is just the default setting when you’re not Jewish.
It invoked one of the oldest antisemitic ideas in history: blood libel, or the idea that Jews kill non-Jews and use their blood for nefarious religious rituals (most infamously, the idea that Jews would kill Christian children in order to make use of their blood).

I will give “anti-Zionists” protesting at a synagogue the benefit of the doubt only after they refrain from doing so for at least a year, and in that time frame they protest just as vigorously outside evangelical churches who support far-right Israeli parties. Then you can claim it’s just political.
