Everyone except Mets fans can appreciate why Chase Utley should be admitted to the baseball Hall of Fame. Chase was put on this Earth to do two things: kill WW2-era Nazis and get hit by pitches, and Jack Kennedy asked him to stop killing Nazis on account of Operation Paperclip.

There was a NYC “blackout” storyline that played across Mad About You, Friends, and a short-lived Dabney Coleman show called Madman of The People. The only other sitcom on NBC that night was Seinfeld which didn’t do the blackout story, making Seinfeld Sony Spider-Man?
Mad About You and Seinfeld had a crossover in the first season with Kramer and Mad About You and Friends had repeated crossovers with Ursula so basically the 90s NBC prime time schedule was the marvel universe
