Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

They're going to force job seekers into care roles, I can feel it, and I can't stress enough how bad that would be for service users. Vulnerable people entirely reliant on care givers who don't want to be there is a terrifying prospect. I've seen first hand what carers who don't care are like.
Home Office Ministers state publicly, on the record, that they are deliberately making life worse for older people and people with disabilities who depend on care services, but it's worth it because it reduces net migration.
