Underneath it all, I don't think any of them even believe the shit they're saying -- the cruelty is just this pathetically desperate effort to stand out and seem remotely interesting/significant. I've always thought racism is just a lazy way to feel better-than.

Met a woman who bought a bunch of clear ponchos to hand out.

Back on the streetcar, operator had to announce a delay because of the ride. Then laid on the horn in support
