If nothing else, do not store your Rad bike inside your home if it has one of these batteries. But the battery also needs to not get wet since water intrusion seems to be part of the problem! What a clusterfuck.

I don't buy that "preservation" means we can't remove a few ladders and catwalks from the old gas works in order to prevent more kids from dying.
A 'both/and' solution for safety at Gas Works Park | Op-Ed
Rather than remove stairs, catwalks, etc. that wrap around the Gas Works Park towers, the city should look for ways to both maintain them and keep people safe.
