Just remembering Adam Jones and had to check--his personal burger is still on the menu at the excellent Abbey Burger Bistro in Baltimore, 7 years after his last Orioles appearance. #RememberSomeGuys (Came up as a guy who exercised his no-trade because he just wanted to stay someplace. Rare thing!)

This year I am Thankful for my excuse to spend Thanksgiving utterly alone! It will be glorious. The only tradition that will be respected is the parade, which I see more as the start of Xmas.
The excuse is that I'm going to see the 1pm Torrent game the next day! The travel simply couldn't work!

Someone I knew for a minute said something cool that the thing reminds me of. She doesn't believe in traditional gods, she thinks "we're God." Everyone in the world together, combining all their experiences, knowledge, compassion, would equal God. Anyways, she turned out to be racist.

I get why people want the thing to be a stand-in for AI, but I don't see it. It is competent, effective, efficient, helpful. Quite a different thing. And it's not emulating sentience, it's got it. So much of it!
