“why are there so many allergies now! It must be the GMOs”

…no there’s always been a lot of people with a lot of allergies, ppl were just quietly really sick from everything they ate & didn’t know why

The “severe weather alert” here in Florida is about how the windchill might get as low as 32. And the fact that that would be toasty for Ohio rn is why I am kind of ok suffering thru summer heat index so high they close the playgrounds

maybe not listening, but definitely creeping on your camera. My dad accidentally opened camera on his iPhone while wearing a pair of shoes he has owned for decades but hadn’t worn in about five years, and suddenly Instagram is sending him a ton of ads for that particular shoe brand.
Do you remember when people were saying "I think my phone is listening to me, i'm getting ads for stuff I spoke about" and people said "They arent listening to you, they're just this good at predicting your interests"?

Well, it happens they were doing exactly that.

Looking at our first photos of 💗Muffin, I’m starting to wonder if she was actually younger than we thought? I know the vet goes by teeth, and all of hers were grown up teeth and disgusting (street dog!), but she was SO skinny! and I feel like she got taller too??? Idk!!!

Happy Groundhog Day! I am a fan of the absurdity of weather prognosticating rodents and celebrate Groundhog Day with my thermochromic linocut. The shadow is visible if the ambient temperature is <30°C and disappears when >30°C (and it’s a safe bet winter is over or you are overheating your home). 🧵

OK folks, let's get this started. Think back to pandemic year 2020. Think of SFF books from that year which "include positive explorations of gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered characters, themes, or issues." A broad citation!

Here's my initial longlist from racking my brain. What've I missed?

Stepmom assigned me to make sure my sister was not alone with her boyfriend in her room at the house one night, so I did a “how do you, do fellow kids” and showed them “Too Many Cooks” and they were so traumatized that he went home LOL

This is one of my favorite things I’ve ever sculpted, in my decades of small scale sculpture work. I never got to really develop my wheel throwing so i just added cool details afterwards to basically camouflage the uneven thickness of the walls.
I have a tiny “desk trash can” that’s for balled up post-it notes, spent gum, discarded tape/staples. it’s a teacup concept art/sculpture I made in undergrad, and it brings me such joy to have it on my desk. I empty it frequently, don’t have a trash can in my home office
