I am so sick of them.

Two months ago we were paying all federal workers, SNAP benefits were fully funded, and people could afford their health insurance premiums but a small group of Democratic senators have Stockholm Syndrome and are telling us we have to Sophie’s choice one or two of these things.

No Senator, the sooner we get effective leadership the better off we all are - and the likelier our victory next November. This wasn't the first straw for Schumer, it was well beyond the last. You must demonstrate leadership and call for his removal or you endorse his "strategy"

This isn't "internal recriminations." It's voters expressing overwhelming opposition to what the people they elected to represent them are doing, and anyone--either in journalism or politics--who characterizes it as infighting is either not seeing and hearing what's right in front of them or lying.
The sooner we get past internal recriminations and back to fighting united, the better off we all are — the likelier our victory next November.

Also, there is nothing stopping you from doing both. The DSA works very hard to reform the Democrats while also building their own party to relevance.
There’s a two party duopoly in this nation.

Is it great? No! Is it reality? Yes.

Creating a third party means building up an entirely new infrastructure from scratch and then fighting both R & D.

Taking over the Dem Party is an easier and more effective route. It’ll take time, but it’s worth it.

Tonight’s Senate vote on the federal government shutdown should have been a time for strength.

Instead we saw capitulation and a betrayal of working Americans.

The American people need more from their leaders.

He told America that he would lower the price of groceries on “Day One”

Instead he gave tax breaks to billionaires, gutted Medicaid, unleashed ICE on Americans and innocent immigrants, tore down the East Wing and sued to get out of paying SNAP benefits

And now it’s “maybe” we’ll lower prices
Hassett: "We understand that people feel like there's an affordability problem, but we're closing the gap fast. And with these policies and potentially rebate checks, we might close the whole gap really really fast."

Call for Schumer to step down from leadership or you’re complicit in the complete collapse of the Democratic caucus, Senator.

Performative anger isn’t cutting it anymore. Heads should roll for this.

Standing up to a tyrant - who is willing to impose pain as leverage to compel loyalty or acquiescence - is hard. You can convince yourself that yielding stops the pain and brings you back to "normal".

But there is no "normal". Submission emboldens the tyrant. The threat grows.

Hey, @schumer.senate.gov!

Americans gave you a clear assignment last Tuesday, and you didn’t understand it.

Now, we are giving you another one: Step down and allow a Democrat with a spine to unite your caucus for the good of all Americans.

Remember what you told Biden? Now, tell it to yourself.

We’d be much better off if our elected leaders had to endure the same hunger, abductions, lack of good healthcare, jobs, & housing, bigoted policing, hostile & unfunded schools, bullying, & more that their constituents are facing daily. They’re completely out of touch.
And the truly craziest thing abt this cave is that someone seeing the invasion of Chicago firsthand, Dick Durbin, doesn't understand this.
