They lied about Renee.

They lied about Alex.

They’re lying about how many of the people they’re abducting are criminals.

Lie after lie after lie.

They’re also ridiculous hypocrites—violating people’s constitutional rights after screaming for years about *their* rights being violated.

It's sick.

People are afraid to go to work. Afraid to send their kids to school. To even leave their house.

Enough with ICE’s lawless bullshit!
January 27, 2026 at 2:23 PM
ICE is totally out of control. Killing observers, gassing protestors, threatening people for daring to record their abhorrent behavior.

It’s NOT serving its purpose, it’s NOT enforcing the law, and it’s NOT respecting our rights.

All options are on the table—starting with no more taxpayer dollars.

Unless you’re Native American, you’re an immigrant.

We are and have always been a nation of immigrants. It’s what made us the most inventive, productive, and dynamic country in the history of the world.

We cannot pull the ladder up behind us.

Last night’s plane crash at BIA is a tragedy for our state. Seven lives have been lost. Another is seriously injured. It's truly heartbreaking.

My thoughts are with the families, loved ones, first responders, and airport staff navigating this painful moment.

We're holding you all in our hearts.

Immigrants make up 4% of Maine’s population. An overwhelming majority are here legally—and have the documentation to prove it.

Mainers (and our Somali community especially) are being targeted by this Administration for no reason other than racism and retribution.

ICE’s campaign of terror must end.
January 26, 2026 at 3:46 PM
I was a HELL NO on funding Homeland Security when the house voted on it last week. That unfortunately passed.

But the Senate now has an opportunity to block the bill and demand changes and accountability to a completely out of control agency.

Not a PENNY more for ICE.

🧵

Alex Pretti was a VA ICU nurse. Colleagues remember him as kind, warm, and caring.

He was a beloved son, brother, friend, and neighbor.

ICE agents murdered him in cold blood. In broad daylight.

And then they had the gall—the sheer, evil audacity—to call *him* a domestic terrorist. (1/3)

Mainers have a message for Donald Trump and Kristi Noem: Get your murderous immigration agents OUT OF MAINE.
January 24, 2026 at 10:05 PM
On my way to Lewiston for the No ICE protest, but I’ve been watching the breaking news out of Minneapolis, where federal agents have shot and killed another person.

I’ve seen the video and it’s horrific.

This violent occupation has to end. ICE needs to GET OUT of MN and GET OUT of Maine.

I’m so sad to hear that Ginny Oliver—known as the Lobster Lady—has passed away at the age of 105.

She was a true Mainer: salt of the Earth, hardworking, kind beyond words. I got to meet her a few years ago. Hearing her stories, seeing the passion she had for her work—it was an amazing experience.

ICE is using intimidation, harassment, and fear tactics against peaceful observers and protesters.

It is NOT illegal to record or observe ICE activity. Period.

Showing up at observers’ homes, calling their cell phones, and putting people on a “domestic terrorism” list are gross abuses of power.
January 23, 2026 at 5:26 PM
It’s been a terrible week for our state. Noem and her lawless secret police are terrorizing Mainers, detaining lawful permanent residents, denying people due process, and causing widespread fear and chaos in our communities.

We need answers. We need accountability. And we need ICE OUT OF MAINE.

ICE’s Maine operation is a disaster. They’re terrorizing families, threatening observers, and acting outside their stated scope.

I’m demanding answers to critical questions including:

🔴 How many have been taken pursuant to VALID warrants?
🔴 How many have documentation?
🔴 Where are they being held?

For months, we’ve been hearing stories about ICE forcefully entering people’s homes without a judicial warrant.

Now we know why: DHS gave them the green light.

This is a clear and egregious violation of the 4th Amendment.

No wonder DHS tried to keep this under wraps. They knew it was illegal.

The memo, seen by The Washington Post, was included in a disclosure to U.S. senators by Whistleblower Aid, a legal group representing two government employees.

I am furious. Sickened. Outraged beyond words.

ICE detained this 5-year-old boy in Minnesota—then USED HIM AS BAIT.

His family has an active asylum case. They came through a legal port of entry. They are not criminals.

This isn't "law enforcement." It's cruelty for cruelty’s sake.

Let me be absolutely clear: DHS’s operation "Catch of the Day" does not serve the public interest in any way.

It exists solely to meet anti-immigration quotas.
January 21, 2026 at 11:28 PM
DHS says they have a “list” of around 1,400 people to round up in what they’re calling “Operation Catch of the Day” — a completely disgusting and inhumane name for their terror campaign in our state.

Last week it was Rollins and her “piece of chicken, piece of broccoli, corn tortilla, and one other thing.”

Today Bessent says having “5, 10, 12 homes” is a totally normal retirement strategy.

If these people were any more out of touch, they’d be orbiting the moon.

Here’s an idea: TAX THE RICH.
Bessent: "Someone, maybe your parents for their retirement have bought 5, 10, 12 homes."

This week the House is expected to vote on the Homeland Security funding bill.

It does NOT include reforms proposed by Democrats like:

❌Preventing citizens from being detained

❌Banning enforcement actions at sensitive locations (like schools)

❌Making ICE remove their masks

I plan to vote NO.

🧵

One year ago today, Trump was sworn into his second term. It’s impossible to list all the damage he and his Administration have done since. They’ve made a mockery of our constitution, terrorized our communities, and embarrassed our country on the global stage time and again. (1/3)

In these tumultuous times, there are few people whose words and actions feel more relevant—or more important—than those of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

This quote in particular really struck a chord with me:

“The time is always right to do what is right.” (1/2)

Trump’s insane post about Greenland was incredibly reckless.

He’s jeopardizing NATO, undoing our centuries-old alliance with Denmark, and risking economic catastrophe—all because of his delusional idea that we need Greenland for “national security.”

He needs to quit acting like an asshole.

Important win in Minnesota!

A federal judge has restricted immigration agents from retaliating against peaceful protesters (including using pepper spray).

The court made it clear: Peaceful protest is protected, and federal agents cannot intimidate or use force against people exercising that right.
