Because of the price of eggs, I give you the classic Great Depression-era recipe for Crazy Cake, both in the original chocolate and vanilla versions. No eggs, no milk, all deliciousness.
Next president needs to avoid the mistakes of past presidents and prosecute everyone involved. Or join the ICC and send them all to the Hague.
Exclusive: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth gave an order to “kill everybody” in the first strike on suspected drug boats in the Caribbean. After two men survived, the mission commander ordered a second strike to comply with Hegseth’s instructions, according to two sources.
Hegseth order on first Caribbean boat strike, officials say: Kill them all
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth issued a verbal order to kill all crew members in the Sept. 2 strike on a suspected drug boat. Navy SEALs fired a second missile.

Reminder that literally the one time Trump and co. went out in D.C. it turned into one of the most serious security lapses I've ever seen. (Pres/Vice Pres/Several principals in an unsecured restaurant with protestors.)

It is underrated how much of the fact that the Trump administration is constantly online and posting at all hours is because they have 0 ability to have recreation in Washington D.C. The city rightfully treats them like occupiers.
Stephen Miller is, and has always been a "Massive Whiny Little Bitch". He will be the first to bail out of here come January 21st 2029 or sooner (If impeachment happens), exhibit A: He moved his family to a military base, dude is the biggest coward to ever exists.

I find the 'the Democrats won't do anything' doomer line annoying, because the Democrats will be who you make them - look how much the GOP changed over the past decade!

Right now the party feels immovable but the moment it has a presidential nominee, it will be whatever that person is.

Sarah Beckstrom's ex-boyfriend told NBC News she dreamed of becoming an FBI special agent.

She didn't want to deploy to D.C.

"She hated it. She cried about it."

But she started visiting monuments and museums and started enjoying it.

May she rest in peace.

National Guard member killed in D.C. shooting remembered for 'heart of gold'
The slain soldier’s former boyfriend recalled her empathy and generosity. “She doesn’t even have to know you and she’ll do anything for you,” he said.

This is similar to the logic that the Nazis used to justify mass deportation and murder of Jews, Romani, and other people.

They’re not Nazis, though!
Stephen Miller is now arguing that assimilation is fundamentally impossible and that certain cultures are not compatible with Western civilization

I had to strain the pumpkin pie filling yesterday because the homemade evaporated milk had clumps of milk I didn't notice until I'd mixed up the custard, and I'm never making pumpkin pie without putting the filling through a strainer first. It was by far the smoothest pumpkin custard I've ever made.

I used this link recently to track down a distant theater showing Wake Up Dead Man. Worth the trek! It's a fucking great Benoit Blanc movie. Go see it on the big screen if you can. It's so good as an immersive experience.
For those in the US - this is the best way to find if there's a theater near you playing our movie when it opens 11/26. Sadly no AMC on this run, but Landmark, Alamo and other wonderful chains can keep it running as long as they want, even past the 12/12 Netflix drop. www.wakeupdeadmanfilm.com

We literally executed Germans after the war for doing what Bradley and everyone else involved did, and the Germans had a better justification (u-boat plausibly being targeted based on info provided by survivors vs.......whatever the hell pete was worried about here)
Given the justification was in part because they might communicate with someone, pete could ask Heinz-Wilhelm Eck and his XO what the law of armed conflict says about that, except oops, the allies shot them dead in 1945 after a trial
WaPo with reporting that Pete gave an explicit order to JSOC during the first strike post impact to immediately follow up in order to, and I quote, "kill them all"

clarifying to point out that, *were we at war*, what the Secretary of Defense and every single culpable human person in the chain of command beneath him did would have been, straightforwardly, a war crime; having not been at war it is *murder*

While it is likely that Stephen Miller wrote the post for Trump, as many of y’all have noted, that matters less than the fact is went out under the digital imprimatur of the President of the United States.
This is unhinged, unadulterated white nationalism that is so off-the-charts fascist not even David Duke would have said that in public.
Trump: “I will permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries … denaturalize migrants who undermine domestic tranquility, and deport any Foreign National who is a public charge, security risk, or non-compatible with Western Civilization.“

This is clever and all, but the actual reason people got sick and died all of the time was because penicillin hadn't been discovered yet. Or antidepressants.

Today I want to tell you about farmworkers.
Specifically, the child farmworkers of California's Central Valley.
As young as 12 years old.
In a blue state that is failing to ensure their health and safety.
Amazing investigation in 2 parts from our friends at @capitalandmain.bsky.social. Part I:

State officials are failing to protect the health and safety of thousands of young field laborers, an investigation has found.

Oh, right, maybe if those guys hang out with 👇 crowd at conferences & the Nazi Bar… 🧐🤔
Just to recap. Abundance, apparently, is:

- Peter Thiel & Marc Andreessen's money
- Chris Rufo's boss saying we should get rid of birthright citizenship
- Oren Cass & tariffs
- "Deportation abundance" 😬
- Garrett Jones & "Deep Roots" theory
- An incredible list of white men
