Vendor 2 courier failed to deliver frozen items twice this week but both defrosted parcels (including 1 the courier claimed they never got) turned up today.

For the last several years I've had a box called the Dom Box in which I've kept chocolate bars made by my friend @domramsey.com. Had one today, bloody hell though it's so fucking good. I now have 4 bars left! 😭😭😭😭
Piece of chocolate held between thumb and fore finger, over its packaging. The chocolate has a bite taken out and the surface bears the mould imprint of a leaf design. Such good sealed packaging that it keeps the chocolate in great condition and omg the smell when you open it! Photo shows the bag opened with the chocolate inside. Packaging. XTC Open Chocolates. Now both of my missing parcels of frozen food from the one vendor just arrived. That's the one that DHL first told me via tracking was on the way, then delayed, then lost, then claimed they'd never got it from vendor. And the vendor's resend. First was due Wednesday, the other Thursday.

DHL is 0 for 3 on frozen deliveries in the last 7 days, from two different retailers! I'm begging the sellers to use DPD or frankly, a fucking courier snail is likely to be more reliable! DHL seem utterly incapable of understanding how many deliveries their staff can feasibly make in a day!!!

Talking to my mum the other day and her ex-husband apparently used a flaming bit of paper on the end of a broom handle to burn the England flag tied on a lamppost outside his house, at like 4am.

Not for political reasons, particularly, it was just noisy.

Brand new Kemi Badenoch gaffe brought to you via her spokesperson. Kemi Badenoch attempts to justify Katie Lam's racist repatriation/deportation policy for people who already have been granted Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK, which is akin to the extremist policy of Idi Amin.
In an interview with the Sunday Times, Lam, a Home Office shadow minister and Tory whip, said many people would need to lose their ILR status in order to ensure the UK is mostly "culturally coherent", prompting criticism from other parties. Asked about Lam's comments, Badenoch's spokesperson said some had been "pulled out of context". He said: "She said there are a large number of people who came to this country legally but shouldn't have been able to do so. The leader of the opposition agrees with that." Highlighting the party's plan to strip ILR from people who receive benefits, who commit a crime or whose income falls below £38,700 for six months or longer, he said: "I think that's broadly in line with what Katie said and that is the Conservative party policy." Much like Jenrick, Lam has been accused of shifting with the prevailing winds on issues of identity and immigration. She certainly shares his unsentimental toughness on the subject. "Everybody who's in this country illegally I think needs to go home," she says. Indefinite leave to remain is off the table, too. "There are also a large number of people in this country who came here legally, but in effect shouldn't have been able to do so. It's not the fault of the individuals who came here, they just shouldn't have been able to do so. They will also need to go home. What that will leave is a mostly but not entirely culturally coherent group of people."

Ordered from a very well regarded online retailer for delivery on Wednesday. Food to be frozen on delivery. But they use DHL who are incredibly shit in our area. First delivery went from telling us it was on the way to declaring the parcel lost to claiming they never had it.

I asked my mum for pink paint for my 6th birthday. My plan was to paint stripes on our white cat, so she'd look just like Bagpuss on TV. Fortunately, my mother worked out my plan. She got me some watercolours and took me for lunch at the Wimpy. A win.

Looking after my one year old nephew. He took a nasty trip running around & started screaming. His ankle looked dislocated so I called an ambulance & held his leg still trying to keep him calm. Paramedics had to stop themselves laughing when they told me it was his sock twisted

Nor, I imagine, had my colleagues; other-wise, we would have expressed ourselves even more strongly. But yesterday I was told by a senior boy, in terms of st that Farage was indeed to be selected; and today, of course, his appointment was announced in Assembly an announcement, I gather, which was met with disbelief and derision. To say that is too late to reverse this decision, or that Farage', acdir 3 will be restricted to particular areas of College te, or that he will be supervised within them, is futile. His appointment will have four immediate consequences. First, it will vastly increase his own confidence, and sense of self-justification. Secondly, he will have the privilege of listing his appointment as a profect at Dulwich College in his uni-versity and other applications. Thirdly, his peers, according to their own views, will either adopt him as an exemplar, or, as is much more likely, regard his appointment with disillusionment and cynicism when Ley observe that his notorious views and behaviour, well known to poth Master and members of the staff, are, as it would aptent, condoned by them. Fourthly, those members of the Common Room, such as myself, who believed that a firm daca fon had been reached through a democratic process, will be shock, saddened, angered, and disheartened. You will appreciate that I regard this as a very serious matter. i have often heard you tell our senior boys that they are the nation's future leaders. It is our collective responsibility to ensure that these lenders are enlightened and compassionate. As you know, the national and educational press has recently given much prominence to the growing concern at the exploitation of school pupils by extremists of all kinds. A school of the stature and high roputation of Dulwich College which openly con-domned the recent troubles in Brixton, and offered its facilities freely to the foreca of law and order, ought not to be seen laside or outside its confines to be giving its endorsement, expressly or by implication, to budding extremists of the opposite kind. A school which is proud of its selectiveness, conservatism, and discipline, cught not to allow these characteristics to degen erate into intolerance, political extremism, or bullying of the nastiest kind, in its pupils. The matter of the appointment of Farage as a prefect may be thought by some to be minuscule against these deep considerations. It is not so. I am by disposition, tolerant; and in politics, moderate. But as a member of the Common Room, I find it distasteful that a boy such as Farage should have bestowed upon him the prestige of office and authority: wore I a parent or a pupil, I would find it profoundly so. In view, as I am aware, of the wide concern within the College about this matter, I am sending a copy of this letter to the chairman of the Common Room. Sunday roast chicken leftovers round 1 was a risotto using stock made from the carcass and some of the roast chicken meat plus bacon and leeks. Looks basic but was so nicely balanced and there was a hint of flavours from the herby spices on the skin.
Deep white bowl containing a very soupy risotto with a greenish liquid from which a mountain of rice, chopped chicken, bacon and leeks rise up. Bowl is on a lap tray with a green edge.

Had a whole day in the office for a huge away day thing (they still call them away days even though they are half in our offices). Hip and back totally fucked.
But the good news is that I didn't punch anyone or get myself sacked for my opinions! Trust me, this is an achievement! 😁😁😁😁
