The almost complete lack of color really helps. Regular judges are an explosion of wild colors that makes them stand out but also defuses a bit of their immediate terror.

Early judges tho'? Holy fuck, dudes are all terror.

Drew Struzan's approach to composition in his posters will always be a huge inspiration for me. His artwork was a part of what made movies feel like such a spectacle when they were released in theaters. Movie posters will never hit as hard as his did.
