I don't sell prints of those at cons anymore because they're not my current interests, but maybe I should mix early 20th century illustration and mecha in the future... I've had a The Big O illustration idea for a while 🤔

Oh also, I broke out laughing when the F-18s introduced the USS Dwight D. Flysenhower aircraft carrier (which also has eyeballs and a mouth! it's sentient!)
This implies Eisenhower not only exists in the Cars universe but also was a plane *and* likely created the US national highway system

Friend showed me a bunch of clips from Planes 1 and the trailer for the cancelled Planes 3, and it's bonkers to me how Pixar put so much care into faithfully animating all kinds of aircraft (especially military aircraft) and then the actual story is wacky kidslop
I guess this is Cars in general tho

My funny answer is that Dai-guard is Patlabor's super robot cousin and also well worth watching
Dai-guard uses the kaiju-fighting giant robot conceit to grapple with a salaryman's role in an organization designed to avoid accountability, as well as what happens when your job becomes *too* important
