No that has nothing to do with her real name and no I don’t know how he came up with that lol
magnoliapearl.bsky.social
I call my son “the bub” in diary comics to keep his real name private, I should make up a nickname for my baby daughter too. Perhaps I could use the name my son made up for her, “Little Grum”

“A few years” is probably optimistic lol

Someone brought up that the babies could have just been cloned using hair/skin samples and “cartoon rules” and yeah… but that’s… less fun to imagine the details about lol

Hard to imagine the people on that ship experiencing pregnancy or childbirth, since they are insulated from all forms of friction or pain in human life. Anyway, we obviously need a Wall-E sequel to explain and address this
magnoliapearl.bsky.social
Wall-E makes a point of showing lots of babies on the ship, who seem to be raised entirely by robots. I can only assume that robots either facilitate sex between the humans who can barely move, or simply extract eggs and sperm to cultivate remotely, possibly without the humans even being aware of it

Yeah. I think it’s okay for characters to not know why they do things! Even for the author to not always know!

when i was a kid i didn't understand how this worked and i thought every CD that was manufactured had to have a monster put onto it. like they'd go up to ringo starr or whatever and ask him what monster he wants and he'd say "ouhh this DEfinitely has a "Battle Rocks" quality to it! peace and love.!"

I think my writing tends toward “I never processed dad leaving”-style and I want to train it out of myself lmao

tweet from @arod_twit:

"characters in tv shows are too self aware now! every emotional convo is like "i guess i yelled at you earlier because i never processed dad leaving" no!! no!!! flush someone's blood pressure medication because they called you lazy."

Fiona clears Taylor so easily as a pop-adjacent female songwriter it’s not even funny

I also need to know: I am fairly middle-of-the-road on Taylor Swift but someone I know called her the Greatest Living Lyricist. She is not.

Who is yours? Either the greatest or your favorite?

Ive still not been to a theme park except once in my childhood but I’m becoming a Theme Park Person solely through watching YouTube reviews lmao

Last month, we made a pilgrimage to the new DARK UNIVERSE theme park land at Epic Universe Orlando. Our verdict? It rocks — but in a way that might not be sustainable.
