Dispatch was great! It finished its 8-episode run a few days ago. I loved it and have been thinking a lot about it since.

It sold well enough we should be getting a Season 2. I'm hoping even more people check this out so when that happens we can all enjoy the water-cooler discussions each week!
Anyone else in love with superhero workplace comedy video game Dispatch?

It's halfway through its two-episodes per week run and I'm hooked! Especially loving the downtime each week to stew on what happens, which I didn't expect.

Dear Krafton,

I'd already removed Subnautica 2 from my Wish List over your treatment of employees.

Now we're completely done until you crash and burn so badly from this you're forced to sell the IP off to someone with a clue -- hopefully the devs you're pushing out.

Fuck you forever,

Never forget the same people defending pedophilia have spent years trying to convince the public that drag queens and trans people are a threat to children.

It’s all smoke and mirrors to allow the real predators to roam free.

It's weird how these powerful men who want to take advantage of desperate young women use their power to ensure more and more of them will be desperate

Ok folks we are back at it again from 1-5. Yesterday was a lot. Heard from so many passionate Vancouverites.

Unfortunately I heard the mayor say it was a waste of time. But I assure you, I’m listening.
Budget hearing continued after short recess. 157: environmental lawyer (?)Reads poem. 158: raised in east van. This is austerity and hasn’t been asked for. I’ve been lucky enough to use public services. Breaks my heart to think they won’t get same quality. Few people asked for this police budget.

I see the “technically it’s ephebophelia” crowd is out today, so just a reminder that A) this is NOT a case where technically correct is the best kind of correct and B) the minute you say this, the gods dump you in the “irredeemable creeper” basket and wash their hands thoroughly after touching you.

As all this disgusting Epstein shit starts surfacing more and more, I hope we don't lose sight of the fact that apparently every major media outlet knew everything and instead spent their time money and energy attacking the trans community.

I pulled out my 13 year old "Game Night" movie poster Photoshops and challenged them to name all ten original movie titles, blurring original text but keeping my dumb puns

Here's the video if you want to play along

the eurogamer arc raiders review made this the crux of their argument but it really got me thinking of how insanely boring and small-minded you have to be to rob yourself of the opportunity for a voice actor to really make an imprint on your game, community, and legacy

You have to understand what pieces like this from the NYT are and are not.

They are not an honest assessment of the state of politics today.

They are a negotiation tactic—an effort by a calcified, right-leaning legacy institution to steer the discourse in a direction more palatable to elites.

Worth noting that because Sim brought forward his proposal for a property tax freeze requiring millions in cuts with just weeks left in the budget process, this is not up for public debate and is not outlined in the documents available to councillors when they vote on this
