while i'm thinking about it: if i can't play enlightened tutor without getting afoul of the soft ban of the "game changer" list, why can i play sol ring? that card is so much more of a game changer.

i now have a zirda deck and 1995 allison is so upset with 2025 allison. one of her favorite cards was power artifact, so she would love basalt monolith combo.
sadly 2025 allison doesn't want to be that asshole who combos out of nowhere to end a game so quickly.

It will not surprise any of you to learn, I think a lot about taxonomy.
The current system we use (Linnean classification) groups animals by common descent, and uses similarity of structures and the fossil record to try and do so accurately. "How closely related are these, in evolutionary terms?"

when i was a teenager, i had a bunch of retail jobs. even worked at an lgs a couple summers.
and asking an adhd kid to focus on details like pricing is, uh, fraught. i made *many* mistakes. and paid for them, sometimes literally out of my paycheck.
every time i wished that i could fix my mistake.

unfortunately i have also paid attention to tech companies so i do not remotely trust that the data wouldn't be used for evil.
