On Oct. 15, 1872, 19 people from the USS Polaris became stranded on an ice floe near Greenland. They drifted on the ice for six months and 2,900 km before they were rescued near Newfoundland.
Their survival was thanks to Ipirvik and Taqulittuq.
This is the story.

Me: The other day I googled “how many fingers does the Muppet Pepé the Prawn have?” and the Ai overview(that I can’t turn off) at the top of the page said “Pepé has 4 arms with 4 fingers on each hand, which means he has 8 fingers total.” Your friend trusts THAT to fix his car.

My 18yo agreed to help his friend work on a car he bought that had the engine replaced. His friend sent him a diagram for a component he needs to re-wire and my son couldn’t make heads or tails of it. “This doesn’t make sense. This isn’t even possible..I’m going to ask where he got it.”

Walking past these little yew topiaries earlier and I don’t think I’ve seen them this full of ”berries”(arils) before. Did you know the red fleshy part is the only non-toxic part of the plant? Every other part is poisonous!

I get it. So tactile! Getting past the prickly exterior to reveal one of nature’s smooth,polished treasures — (and I just want to roll it around in my hand). I’m sure finding the perfect conker for competing with is a challenge in itself. Finding the ”perfect” horse chestnut is a delight.

I think what Struzan was able to do with his work was elevate the story into being something far greater than the events it depicted. The best of the fantasies that he rendered left a greater impression and experience in the imagination of the audience
